Job Summary

A.  Help Desk Support

• Provide information to beneficiaries on available services, assistance processes, and referral pathways within the Reception Center.
• Support dissemination of information on reporting channels of the following:
• Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA);
• Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM Connect);
• Service availability and access procedures;
• Reception Center process flow and available support services.
• Guide beneficiaries through reception and screening processes to ensure orderly and informed access to services. 
• Assist beneficiaries in understanding where and how to access support services and submit complaints or feedback safely and confidentially.
• Maintain respectful, confidential, and accountable communication with all beneficiaries.

B. Protection Help Desk Support

• Support family reunification activities through facilitation of free calling services for beneficiaries.
• Assist beneficiaries in accessing communication support services to contact family members or relatives inside or outside Afghanistan.
• Maintain accurate records of free calling services provided to beneficiaries, including separate tracking of calls made within Afghanistan and calls made outside Afghanistan.
• At the close of each working day, submit the total number of calls made within Afghanistan and outside Afghanistan through the Kobo link.
• Submit monthly call records (hard file) to the Protection Supervisor or designated focal point, as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity while supporting vulnerable individuals and families.
• Assist in managing beneficiary flow around the Protection Help Desk area to ensure safe and organized access to services.
• Coordinate with protection assistants (screeners) regarding beneficiaries requiring additional support.
• Assist and guide beneficiaries (male and female) in navigating the Reception Center process flow and direct them to the appropriate waiting areas, screening locations, or service points.
• Any other task given by supervisor.

Education: Minimum high school education is preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in humanitarian, protection, reception center, or community support activities is an asset.

Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse populations.

Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of local languages is required.
