Senior Spring Boot Developer

You will work within a mature microservices ecosystem that processes real-time financial transactions and integrates with banks, payment gateways, card management systems, and third-party financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, ISO8583, Microservices Architecture, Distributed Systems, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Enterprise Payment Systems.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of professional Java backend development experience.

3+ years of Spring Boot and Microservices development experience.

Proven experience in FinTech, Electronic Money Institutions (EMI), Digital Wallets, Banking, Payment Gateways, or Financial Services.

Strong ISO8583 transaction processing experience.

Experience supporting production Kubernetes environments.

Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.

Experience working with mission-critical and high-availability systems.

Experience with jPOS Framework.

Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM).

Knowledge of DUKPT Key Management.

PIN Translation Experience.

EMV Transaction Processing.

Payment Systems Development

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Support and improve existing payment processing and wallet platforms.
• Implement and optimize transaction routing, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and ledger management processes.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, availability, and security of mission-critical financial systems.
• Participate in solution architecture, technical reviews, and strategic technology decisions.
• Analyze production issues and provide timely resolutions.

ISO8583 & Transaction Switching

• Maintain, support, and enhance transaction switching solutions based on ISO8583 standards.
• Develop and troubleshoot message parsing, packing, unpacking, validation, and routing mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot transaction failures through message-level analysis.
• Collaborate with acquiring banks, issuing banks, payment gateways, national switches, and financial institutions
• Monitor and improve transaction processing reliability and performance.

Microservices Architecture & Distributed Systems

• Maintain and enhance AsanPay's existing microservices ecosystem
• Develop new microservices to support business growth and regulatory requirements.
• Design scalable and resilient distributed solutions.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Ensure fault tolerance, scalability, and maintainability throughout the platform.
• Participate in architectural planning and system optimization initiatives.

Event-Driven Architecture & Messaging

• Develop and maintain asynchronous processing solutions using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Design event-driven communication between microservices.
• Implement reliable message processing mechanisms.
• Optimize queue performance, throughput, and fault recovery.
