Graduate Horizons is a global application support program launched by Oxford’s Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) for prospective students impacted by displacement. This program aims to assist students who have completed or are nearing the completion of their bachelor’s degree and are preparing to apply for master’s programs starting in late 2027. Selected participants will receive 1:1 mentorship from current graduate students or Oxford alums, who will guide course selection, application processes, and scholarship opportunities.
Participants in the Graduate Horizons program will also benefit from the workshop series designed to enhance their application materials. These workshops, scheduled from November 2026 to April 2027, will cover topics like selecting the right university and degree, crafting compelling personal statements, and preparing CVs and other required documents. Additionally, information sessions will provide further insights into the program and available support.
Individuals with a displaced background who are NOT African are also invited to apply to Horizons. The RLRH team will provide support to apply to a smaller selection of degrees and scholarships available at a range of universities. As you move through the application form, you’ll be directed to fill in relevant sections.
Interested in joining Graduate Horizons? Attend an information session to learn about the support available through the program. RLRH colleagues will discuss application materials and program benefits and answer your questions. Register for a session that fits your schedule:
