Apply to the Monash University International Merit Scholarship, offered annually to 20 undergraduate international students. The scholarships provide funding for students’ tuition fees and living allowances. Eligibility: The selection process for these scholarships is highly competitive and based on academic excellence or achievements: Current students should have gained at least an average mark of 85 The selection committee will consider the 500-word scholarship application statement and the applicant’s potential to be a Monash University ambassador. Please note that preference goes to commencing students.
Benefits: The following benefits are available for the academic year 2026 -2027: The scholarship value is $15,000 per year (total value equates to $75,000) and for the duration of students’ degrees, toward covering tuition fees and allowance. In addition, commencing undergraduate students will have the chance to apply for Monash Minds – a leadership program for first-year students.
How to apply: No separate application is required for the Monash University International Merit Scholarship. Students who receive an undergraduate course offer from Monash will automatically be considered. The scholarship value is $15,000 per year (total value equates to $75,000) and for the duration of students’ degrees, toward covering tuition fees and allowance.
In addition, commencing undergraduate students will have the chance to apply for Monash Minds – a leadership program for first-year students.
To renew the scholarship, students must maintain at least an average percentage of 70 each semester.
Applicants should participate in at least three Marketing or Scholarship promotional activities to retain this scholarship.
