OCHR is a national non-governmental organization established in Afghanistan in 2015 to contribute to humanitarian and development efforts and to support peacebuilding. In humanitarian situations arising from conflict or natural disasters, OCHR works to reduce suffering and strengthen self-reliance by providing appropriate support and resources. OCHR promotes sustainable development, with a focus on vulnerable communities, including people living in remote areas. Through its peacebuilding and development efforts, OCHR envisions a socially inclusive Afghanistan where peace, dignity, and prosperity are accessible to all, and where children, women, and marginalized groups have a voice.
