Operations Officer - Cross Border Cargo

We're looking for an Operations Officer to manage our international cargo operations, coordinating multi-modal shipments across borders and ensuring smooth transit from origin to destination.

High School or Bachelor Degree.

Minimum 2 years experience in international cargo/freight operations.

Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures.

Experience with multi-modal shipments (sea-land, air-land combinations).

Understanding of route planning for international cargo.

Familiar with working with freight agents and port operations.

Knowledge of transit procedures through key routes (Iran, Pakistan, Central Asia).

Understanding of shipping documentation and Incoterms.

Good communication skills in Dari/Pashto and English.

Computer literate (MS Office, cargo tracking systems).

Plan and coordinate international cargo routes.

Manage multi-modal shipments (sea, air, land combinations).

Coordinate with freight agents, shipping lines, and trucking companies.

Handle customs clearance documentation and procedures.

Manage port clearance and transit operations.

Track cargo through all transit points and borders.

Prepare and verify shipping documents (B/L, packing lists, invoices, certificates).

Coordinate with clearing agents at ports (Bandar Abbas, Karachi, Hairatan, etc.).

Monitor shipment status and provide updates to clients.

Resolve transit issues and delays.
