Uppsala University Global Scholarship 2027 for International Master Students

The Uppsala University Global Scholarship is expected to open for applications in early 2027, offering international students the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree at Uppsala University with full tuition fee coverage. The scholarship is available for eligible master’s programmes starting in 2027 through the upcoming admission round. However, it does not cover living expenses, so successful applicants must arrange separate funding for accommodation, food, and other daily costs.

Who can apply?

Applicants should meet these requirements:

• You must be a citizen of a nation, not a member of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland.
• You must have academic ability and a desire to be in an educational environment.
• Only a Master’s program at Uppsala University can be given a Uppsala University Global Scholarship as a priority (the program that you have ranked the highest of the four programs you can choose at University Admissions).
• Before the University Admissions deadline, you must have applied for the Master’s program.
• It would be best if you met the prerequisites for the Master’s program for which you are applying.
• Before the deadline, University Admissions must receive your application fee and any supporting documentation.

Uppsala University Global Scholarship is a partially funded opportunity that covers the following costs:

The scholarships will pay for the entire cost of tuition at Uppsala University.

Students are responsible for living costs as the scholarship program does not cover them.

To be considered for a scholarship, you must first apply to Uppsala University for a Master’s degree program. Uppsala University’s program should be your primary priority. Following this, the scholarship application period begins.

When applying for scholarships at Uppsala University, there is no application fee. There is, however, an application fee for studying in these programs. During the scholarship application period, you must submit an online application form to be considered for one of the scholarships.
