Operations Officer - Courier Services

We're looking for an Operations Officer to manage our international courier operations, handling documentation, tracking, and coordination with global courier networks.

High School or bachelor degree.

Minimum 2 years experience in courier/express delivery operations Strong knowledge of courier terminology and documentation (AWB, manifests, POD).

Experience with volumetric weight calculations and pricing.

Familiar with global courier operations (UPS, DHL, FedEx, Aramex).

Understanding of their terms, conditions, and operational standards.

Knowledge of customs clearance procedures for courier shipments.

Good communication skills in Dari/Pashto and English.

Computer literate (MS O!ce, courier tracking systems).

Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Create and process Air Waybills (AWB).

Prepare shipment manifests and generate tracking numbers

Calculate shipment costs including volumetric/dimensional weight

Coordinate pickups, transit, and deliveries

Track shipments and update clients on status Handle customs clearance documentation for courier shipments

Liaise with international courier partners and agents

Resolve delivery issues and handle customer inquiries

Maintain accurate records of all shipments
