برنامه فلوشیپ تحصیلات تکمیلی IMU Breakout ۲۰۲۷

ریاضی‌دانان حرفه‌ای می‌توانند دانشجویان بسیار باانگیزه و بااستعداد ریاضی از کشورهای در حال توسعه را نامزد کنند؛ دانشجویانی که قصد دارند دکترای خود را در یک کشور در حال توسعه، شامل کشور خودشان، تکمیل کنند. نامزدان باید سابقه اکادمیک دوامدار و خوب داشته و به مسیر حرفه‌ای پژوهش و تدریس ریاضیات علاقه جدی نشان دهند.

هدف اهداکنندگان، International Mathematical Union و Friends of the International Mathematical Union این است که این فلوشیپ نسل آینده ریاضی‌دانان را تربیه کند و برای کشورهای مبدا آنان منافع درازمدت ایجاد نماید.

شرایط واجدیت

• زبان مورد نیاز: English.
• نامزدان می‌توانند از تمام کشورهای جهان باشند، اما دانشجو باید شهروند و مقیم یک developing country باشد.
• دانشجو نمی‌تواند شخصاً درخواست دهد؛ باید توسط professional mathematician نامزد شود.
• nominator باید دانشجو را پیش از این mentor کرده باشد.
• دانشجو باید برای ورود به PhD در نخستین سال اکادمیک پس از انتخاب در یک university/research institution واقع در developing country pre-accepted باشد، یا قبلاً در چنین برنامه‌ای ثبت باشد.
• محدودیت سنی وجود ندارد.
• نامزدی زنان به‌شدت تشویق می‌شود.
• فلوشیپ هر بار برای یک سال تصویب می‌شود و با پیشرفت رضایت‌بخش سالانه تمدید می‌گردد؛ تا تکمیل PhD یا حداکثر چهار سال، هرکدام زودتر باشد.

Criteria for IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program

To qualify for the IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program, the candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements: Required Language: English.

Eligible Countries: All world countries

Students cannot apply themselves to the fellowship. Professional mathematicians (including those who have superannuated but continue to mentor young students). The nominator should have been mentoring the nominee. The student must be a resident and a citizen of a developing country. The student must either be pre-accepted to join a doctoral program in the first academic year after the time of selection in a university or research institution that is based in a developing country or already be enrolled in a doctoral program in a university or research institution that is based in a developing country. There is no age limit for the student. Nomination for women students is strongly encouraged. The fellowship will be sanctioned for one year at a time and is renewable annually based on the satisfactory progress of the awardee and will cease to be awarded when the awardee completes the doctoral program or at the end of four years, whichever is earlier.

Two letters of recommendation, which both cannot come from the nominator. Transcripts of coursework (certified copies (e.g., stamped by the university)) of the student:

• BSc degree or equivalent.
• MSc degree or equivalent.

Nominee CV. Nominee letter of motivation, research project, and plans of the student. Nominator declaration. PhD supervisor declaration. Nominee (student) declaration.
